RESTAURANTS
We are collecting menus from around the area. Please add to the collection and make
comments.

IN NUS

Marsan Bar and Restaurant
This is a nice family restaurant within walking
distance right above the flat on the road to St. Barthelemy. It is closed Mondays
and recently seems to be closed or changing hands. There is a good selection of
area’s food and local color. At night the locals enjoy the bar.

IX Miglio (The ninth mile from Aosta)
This is a nice family owned and operated restaurant. The food is very good and artisically served.

Nus Bar
There is also a nice bar in Nus in the pastry shop across from the town
square and fountain. It is small but nicely remodeled.

AGRITURISIMAS

There are three in the area. One is on the main street of Nus “Maison Rosset” and there at 2 more in the area. One is on the other side of the valley at Brissogne and the other above St. Nicholas at Meod- ‘Vieus Grenier” - phone 908865.

A agriturisima is an Italian restaurant that is required to serve a least 60% of its food that is grown or raised locally. In Nus, the farm that raises the food for the “Maison Rosset” agriturisima restaurant is located at the west end of Marsan on a promitary in the neighboring small town of Plane. There are many courses which differ during the year depending on what can be grown.

IN THE SURROUNDING AREA

Pam Pam

Brasserie Vecchia

Bella Napoli
They have the best pizza in Aosta.

Brasserie au Commerce
A busy lunch restaurant for business people in downtown Aosta.

La Clusaz
The very best restaurant in the area. It is about a half an hour away on the road to the Grand St. Bernard tunnel in Gignod just before you get to Etroubles. They have a local food menu and a more common menu. The wine list, the cheese tray and the service is 5 star. The restaurant is like a wine celler and it is fun to be there. Check to see if they are open.
